Linda King and Ben Burton from Burton Funeral Home recently delivered the surplus supplies from the Stocking for Soldiers Program which is coordinated by Karen Burton-Horstman and Peter Burton. On any given night, approximately one third to one half of our population is veterans. Each of the veterans who stay with us at one time served our country so that we can live free. That service is still helping others today. Their presence at St. Patrick’s Haven allowed us to receive this generous donation and assist not only those who served our country but others who are walking a difficult path.
In addition to the surplus items recently delivered, each guest will receive a Stocking for Soldiers during the week of December 16th. Thank you for your support of our mission to assist homeless men in Erie. You are a blessing to us!
