Pat Stucke, CEO of the Mental Health Association, reached out to St. Patrick’s Haven and offered the lower level of their building located on the corner of 11th & Peach Streets so St. Patrick’s Haven could reopen and continue to serve homeless men in Erie. Board member, Professor Terry Holmes of Gannon University, recruited several students from the Dahlkemper School of Business to help us move into our temporary home. St. Patrick’s Haven opened our doors at the Mental Health Association on Friday, September 30th. We have 20 beds available for those in need and while many of our processes are different in the new space one thing remains the same – we can provide a safe, clean place for homeless men to sleep, the ability to shower and cup of hot coffee. Thank you to the MHA and Gannon students for helping us continue to serve. You are all truly Haven Angels!
