Each year, religious education students and parishioners from St. Mark the Evangelist and Mount Calvary Church in Erie, PA pack blessing bags for the men at St. Patrick’s Haven. Each bag contains much needed items such as: lotion, a hat, $5 McDonald’s gift card, toothbrush/paste, rain poncho, puzzle book/pen and snacks – just to list a few items. The bags were delivered to us this year by project coordinators Katie Schwenk, Elementary Youth Minister and Stacey Badowski, Director of Faith Formation. They shared that their students “Love making these bags!”. Thank you to St. Mark’s and Mount Calvary parishioners for your continued caring and concern for our guests. You will also be Haven Angels!
