A Frightfully Fun Night at St. Patrick’s Haven! 👻

On the scariest night of the year, St. Patrick’s Haven was anything but. Thanks to the generosity of our community, the shelter was filled with laughter, good food, and friendly faces instead of tricks or frights.

Our guests enjoyed a festive Halloween celebration featuring Taco Bell meals and drinks, bags of candy, and delightfully spooky cupcakes made with care. The simple joy of sharing a meal and a laugh transformed the evening into one of warmth and belonging.

Halloween is often a night of ghosts and goblins, but for many men experiencing homelessness, the real fear comes from being misunderstood or unseen. Homelessness itself can be frightening—but our guests are not. They are our neighbors: men with stories, hopes, and hearts that deserve to be acknowledged and respected.

At St. Patrick’s Haven, compassion always triumphs over fear. Even on the scariest night of the year, our guests experienced what truly matters—love, kindness, and the reminder that they are seen and valued.
